VILLAS DO ÍNDICO is an eco-lodge set in a beautiful garden with a a private beach. The lodge is situated 10 km north of Vilanculos and has 12 guestrooms with incredible views over the bay towards Benguerra Island.

The beachfront rooms are spacious with en-suite bathrooms, sea views and private verandas. The lodge is very well suited to accommodate a group of 15 people and offers splendid opportunities for all kind of water sports.

Activities:
We offer horse riding, scuba diving and eco walking trails in Vilanculos.
Rooms:
The lodge has 12 guestrooms with 5 bungalows and 2 honeymoon suites. Each room has mosquito nets with private bathroom and hot water. The bungalows all have terraces with panoramic views of the archipelago.
Restaurant:
Excellent European & Mozambican cuisine, prepared with fresh seafood and homegrown vegetables. 

Fishing:
The lodge offers incredible game fishing and the area is world famous for Black Marlin and a large variety of fish species. The fishing appeals to a array of anglers; from avid fly fishers to spinning specialists and big game angler. The fishing in the shallow waters around the reefs is usually very successful and it is not unusual to catch more than 10 different species of fish in one day.

Boats & Fishing Guide:

The lodge use two boats; a 17ft with twin 40hp outboards and a 22 ft V Cat with twin 60hp outboards. The boats are in excellent condition and you are able to fish for Sailfish and Marlin. 
Catch & Release
As an eco-lodge the fishing is done on a ‘catch and release’ basis with emphasis on the release and a lot of the fish are tagged.
