BENGUERRA LODGE is an exquisite destination that exudes
an Arabic and African elegance.
The resort offers world-class luxury and blends into a natural forest
with white sand beaches on a private island.
The lodge consists of thirteen secluded rooms built on stilts overlooking the ocean. Eleven double room chalets have en-suite facilities whilst the villa has two double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, a private plunge pool.
All accommodation has immediate access to the beach.

Children are accommodated in their own, separate bungalow, situated 20 m behind the Casitas.
The bungalows are open and airy, with no windows or doors.

A fully equipped dive centre with dive master has been set
up to encourage visitors to enjoy the pristine reefs, . There are numerous dive venues
available, including Two-Mile Reef.

Benguerra Island offers some of the finest saltwater fly fishing
on the continent and the Lodge has experienced, professional guides whose knowledge of the archipelago’s waters is unsurpassed.
Boats are fully equipped and marlin season is from November to March. Each deep sea fishing boat has the equipment on board for tagging and releasing.

Dining at Benguerra Lodge:
|
|
Meals at Benguerra are comprised largely of freshly caught seafood,
with delicacies such as prawns, crab and crayfish. Traditional Moçambican
cuisine with Portuguese flavours and a variety of delicious dishes make up the daily menus. Breakfast and lunch are buffet affairs, while dinner is a set menu. Guests with special dietary requirements can be individually catered
for and the lodge provide a variety of settings for lunches and dinners.
